Shawnee Mountain is a family-friendly ski area located in the Pocono Mountains. It is closer to metropolitan New York and New Jersey than any other major Pennsylvania ski area. The resort features 125 acres of skiing and riding. Known as the Pocono’s favorite family ski resort, it is among the first ski areas in the region to open. Shawnee prides itself on being beginner friendly and offers a wide range of lesson packages.
