With plenty of family activities, Hills Creek is a wonderful destination for a family trip. Environmental education and interpretation programs run year-round, and there is a sand beach, 5.5 miles of hiking trails, designated spots for winter ice skating, and several picnic areas. Unique to Hills Creek is an active beaver colony, as well as frequent sightings of bald eagles, bears, and deer.
