Fort Washington may be the site of a Revolutionary War fort, but significant renovations and updates have been made since the 1700s. The park is a popular site for picnics, offering over 300 picnic tables, two pavilions, and several spacious fields. An accessible observation deck provides a scenic overlook, as well as views of a butterfly garden and opportunities to see migrating birds.
