Dr. Alan Wolf established Conneaut Cellars in 1982 after studying winemaking in Germany in the 1950s and teaching winemaking in the U.S. during the 1960s. Conneaut Cellars performs all winemaking and distillation on location. There are over 20 sweet to dry table wines, sparkling wines, raspberry dessert wine, vermouth, ports, fortified and sparkling hard ciders, bourbon, brandy, rum, vodka, and coffee liqueur. Visitors are welcome to taste wines for free, tour the wine cellar/distillery, and browse the gift shop.
