Swimming, boating and fishing areas along with the Lawrence Picnic Area and Tompkins Campground. With 1,085 acres of water, surrounded by forested ridges, lake offers recreation for all. Boating, fishing, hunting, water-skiing, camping, picnicking, nature walks, amphitheater programs & more. Three boating accesses. Primary boating on the lake includes moderate-draft fishing boats, sailboats & recreational runabouts. Shore fishing at all access sites is available. Obey posted signs & aids to navigation. Motorboats must display valid registration. Children 12 years of age or younger required to wear a life jacket when underway on a boat that is 20' in length or less and all canoes and kayaks. All watercraft operators and passengers, sailboarders, water skiers or anyone being towed behind a boat must also wear a life jacket.
