The Greenbelt trail system is a 24-mile, multi-use recreational trail circling Harrisburg and traveling through surrounding municipalities. Most of the trail is either paved or packed gravel, with very limited road sharing. Though all of the trail offers something to enjoy, the crown jewel just might be the 3.5-mile portion that follows historic Riverfront Park and provides spectacular views of the Susquehanna River.
